Most people in this area remember the former Middletown Regional Hospital that was located off Central Avenue in Middletown, Ohio. The hospital was moved in 2007 near I-75 and became Atrium Medical Center. The former hospital building was demolished and converted into vacant land totaling approximately 19 acres. A two story, brick office building remained on the property comprising approximately 20,000 square feet.
The Oaks Community Church purchased the entire property, including the office building. The Oaks will convert the lower level of the building to a congregation space, and the upper level will continue to be occupied by a medical office. Hurley Law and attorney Dustin Hurley represented The Oaks in all aspects of the transaction, including negotiating the purchase agreement, negotiating a lease extension, reviewing financing documents, and closing.
